Road Test Preparation in Orlando

Preparing a teen or new driver for the Florida road test is something we take seriously. We start by calming nerves and teaching the basics step by step, then we practice the skills the examiner checks until they feel familiar. On test day, you can use our car and your instructor.

How We Prepare You for the Test

We never rush you. We move to the next stage only when you are comfortable with the last one, and we decide together when you are ready.

Get comfortable with the car

We start in a parking lot. You learn the controls and instruments until using them feels natural.

Practice the basic skills

Next come turning corners, braking, and speeding up and slowing down smoothly.

Move to busier side roads

When the parking lot feels easy, we move onto quieter roads and practice the same skills in traffic.

Practice the test skills

Once you are confident and want to start preparing for the test, we work on the skills the examiner checks, in the order you need them.

Highway driving and other road skills are available with some of our lesson packages.

What the Florida Road Test Covers

The test checks a set of specific skills, and we practice every one of them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use your car for my road test?

Yes. With our One Time Road Test Preparation service, we provide the car and your instructor.

Where can I take my road test?

Our service covers road tests at Orange, Seminole and Osceola County locations.

What is the mock road test?

It is a practice test. Your instructor tests you on the same skills the examiner will check, and scores you on a sheet, so you know what to work on.

How much practice do I need before the test?

It depends on your experience. We suggest starting with a lesson or package so your instructor can see your level and help you plan.

What if I feel nervous about the test?

Most students do. We start by relieving nerves, move at your pace and only advance when you feel ready.

Do you teach highway driving?

Highway driving is included in some of our lesson packages, and you can add a 60 minute Highway Confidence Booster for $125.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Tell us at least 48 hours ahead and we will reschedule at no cost. For same day changes we need at least 4 hours’ notice.
